Art Night Out in Lafayette takes place every second Friday in the summer, featuring live music at Festival Plaza from 6:30 – 9PM, free activities for kids (from 5-7PM), a beer and wine garden for adults, an art market, as well as additional activities each week by various Lafayette businesses. Art Night Out visitors can also enjoy live demonstrations by artists, crafters, dancers, and others. Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day

Boulder is celebrating Take Your Kid Mountain Biking Day at Valmont Bike Park! Activities include clinics from skilled coaches, kids ages 2-12 can compete in their first race on a short track course, bike decorating station, group rides around the park, rock wall, face painting, bike demos, lots of freebies including helmets, snacks, drinks, coloring books, stickers, etc. Presented by: Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance, SMBA and Bicycle Village. Sponsored by Avid4Adventure, Boulder Community Hospital, Clif Bars, Bobo’s Oat Bars, Nite Ize, The Fix.
Dog Park Expo

Bring the family dog to this fun Dog Park Expo that is all about your best friend! There will be various dog-related organizations on hand, as well as a caricature artist to sketch your dog! Kids will enjoy the vendors as well as watching the dogs play. The dog park is right next to the bike park, during the bike park event.
World Oceans Day at the Butterfly Pavilion

In honor of this World Oceans Day, Butterfly Pavilion will host an event highlighting the many amazing invertebrates that call the ocean their home and how we can make a difference in ensuring they’re protected. The day’s activities will feature interactive ocean learning, live mantis shrimp and octopus feedings, meet-and-greets with ocean protectors, a plastic bag exchange, and more! Bring 10 plastic bags to the event and receive a free re-usable bag from Butterfly Pavilion! Limit 2 per person. Available while supplies last.
