Did you know that Boulder has its very own superheroes? The good people at Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) provide families and individuals in our community with basic needs, transitional housing and all kinds of support to help guide them through challenging times. During the holiday season, EFAA provides a holiday gift room for parents to pick out some items for their children, as well as a gift wrapping station. Typically this gift room is supported by a corporate sponsor, but the sponsorship fell through this year. We, as a community, have the opportunity to step up! Let’s show our brothers and sisters that this community cares by filling EFAA’s holiday gift shop with toys and love. It’s really very simple:
Click here to view EFAA’s wish list on Amazon.
The simplest way to donate is to shop and ship from Amazon. Choose from a range of children’s gifts, including more mature gifts for teenagers. If you shop through the wish list link, you will be able to have gifts delivered directly to EFAA. Please do not ask for gift wrapping. EFAA creates a “shopping” experience in the gift room where parents can choose toys for their kids and do the wrapping themselves.
Prefer to Shop Elsewhere?
If you are already doing some holiday shopping this week, you most certainly can add some items for EFAA to your shopping list! Items can be dropped off at EFAA starting December 2 (details below).
