Located at the Steinbaugh Pavilion in Historic Downtown Louisville WinterSkate is an old-fashioned ice skating rink complete with skate rental, concessions, and traditional holiday music. Celebrating its thirteenth year as the original outdoor ice skating rink in the community, WinterSkate presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy the winter season in a beautiful small-town setting. Recapture the holiday magic with White Christmas at the Boulder Dinner Theater this holiday season! This smash Broadway musical based on the Irving Berlin film starring Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby will definitely make your holidays merry and bright. Singers Bob Wallace and Phil Davis join sister act Betty and Judy Haynes to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly, the boys’ commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties — his quaint country inn is failing. So what’s the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put Waverly and his business in the black! Nominated for 2 Tonys and 6 Drama Desk awards! Multiple Piano Festival

Multiple Piano Festival is a very exciting event which has delighted audiences for over 25 years! 12 grand pianos, 24-36 students playing duet/trio pieces in unison led by a conductor. Performances feature a wonderful variety of music, from Mozart to Movie Themes, with some holiday favorites as well. The Multiple Piano Festival will be held at Skyline High School, 600 E Mountain View Ave, Longmont, CO 80501.

The Orchard’s annual tree lighting celebration, Winterfest, is back this year on Town Center Drive! Join in on the family-friendly fun as Santa visits from the North Pole to light our tree to kick off the holiday season. He’ll be bringing all the fun with hot cocoa, caroling, sweet treats, horse-drawn carriage rides, and more! After Santa lights the tree at dusk, he will be available for photos until 7 PM. Jingle Bell Craft Fair

Check out the Jingle Bell Craft Fair, held at the Broomfield Community Center. The annual Craft Fair features five rooms filled with local crafters from Colorado. Santa visits from 10 a.m. until noon! Find something special for everyone on your list. The Ninth Reindeer Cafe will be open during the Craft Fair from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for your snacking needs. Estes Park Tree Lighting Ceremony

Niwot’s Enchanted Evening

Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, the community of Niwot officially ushers in the holiday season with Enchanted Evening. The community will light the community tree, welcome Santa to town, sing holiday carols, and enjoy the evening with our local stores and vendors ready to kick off the gift-giving in spades. Estes Park Catch the Glow Christmas Celebration

November 26, 2021 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM

Each year as many as 20,000 people line Elkhorn Avenue to “Catch the Glow” of this whimsical holiday parade, as well as spend the afternoon visiting Santa and strolling through downtown Estes Park. The parade features more than 40 units, including hand-crafted floats from the Town of Estes Park and nonprofits, marching bands, fire trucks, and other specialty vehicles. A Tuna Christmas at Longmont Theater Company

Longmont Theater Company presents a hilarious comedy about Christmas in the third-smallest town in Texas, A Tuna Christmas. Two actors play all the crazy citizens of Tuna, Texas, as they prepare for the town’s annual Christmas festivities including the hot competition in the annual lawn-display contest. A Tuna Christmas is a total delight for all seasons.

Small Business Saturday Market

Visit Yoga Pearl and other local vendors at the Small Business Saturday Mini Market! They will be hosting local makers, creators, and small businesses in the studio for the day, creating the perfect holiday market. A percentage of sales will be going to BIPOC Holistic Wellness. The market will be free to attend and there will be a $5 raffle to win prizes from our vendors. Prizes include a month of free yoga from Yoga Pearl, Coffee substitutes from Rasa, and much more!

Niwot Holiday Parade

When: November 27, 2021, from 11 AM – 1 PM

Santa returns to Niwot to join in on the Holiday Parade. The parade starts at 11:00 AM. Participants will march down 2nd Ave from Murray Street to Niwot Road. When the parade finishes Santa will be in the Grange until 1:00 PM to take the children’s Christmas gift wish list. The local business will be open with additional craft vendors in the Grange. Centennial Ballet’s Sugar Plum Tea Party

When: November 27, 2021 at 4 PM & November 28, 2021 at 1 PM

Centennial State Ballet’s fundraiser, the Sugar Plum Tea Party includes a delightful afternoon of warm tea, sweet and savory edibles, and harp accompaniment as well as a souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy character. Centennial State Ballet invites both young and old to join them in a wonderful afternoon at the start of the 2018 holiday season. The event is the perfect introduction to the classic tale of Clara and her prince with a mini Nutcracker performance that includes interactive portions for young audience members. A Nutcracker boutique with whimsical gifts for sale will also be on display during the event.

Chanukah on Ice

When: November 30, 2021, from 4 – 6 PM

Celebrate the third night of Chanukah as a community with the Boulder JCC at Chanukah on Ice. Skate with family and friends to Chanukah music at the Winter Skate Rink in downtown Louisville. At 5:30 PM the giant menorah will be lit as a community. Participants will enjoy delicious sufganiyot (jelly donuts) and hot drinks. Co-sponsored by Boulder County Center for Judaism.

The annual Menorah Lighting on Pearl Street attracts over 300 parents, children, grandparents, couples, singles, and passers-by each year, and has become a holiday ritual for numerous local Jewish families. The event features live music, Chanukah Favors, plenty of fresh sufganiot, Menorah Lighting under the stars with the Participation of Community Leaders and Dignitaries, hot chocolate, and more. Join Louisville in its annual Parade of Lights. Enjoy musical entertainment provided by local schools & churches, a living nativity, a petting zoo, and visits with Santa.  The Parade begins at 7:00 PM at the south end of Main Street and ends on South Street. Callahan Holiday Open House

Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights

The bright glow of the holidays is once again coming to the Town of Lyons for the Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights.   The parade will be filled with illuminated, colorful floats, many of which will be decorated in the theme of this year’s parade — Winter Wonderland. Live music and entertainment will follow the parade as well as a fireworks display! The Holiday Parade of Lights will be held at Sandstone Park, Lyons, CO 80540. Sister City Holiday Bazaar

The Superior Khandbari Sister City project is hosting the first annual Superior Bazaar to take place on December 4, 2021, at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road). The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature vendors from across the north metro area. Products for sale will include handmade jewelry & ornaments, art prints, original acrylic paintings, crocheted baby blankets, bath products, and lotions, quilted bags, candles, note cards, handmade pottery, knit hats, food products, and much more. Additionally, there will be several Nepalese products for sale. A portion of the sales at the Superior Bazaar will benefit the Superior Khanbari Sister City Project.

Winter Market is Boulder County Farmers Markets’ free, non-ticketed winter market includes over 100 Colorado local vendors selling fresh produce, specialty meats, eggs, baked goods, preserves, cheese, hot sauces, wine, prepared food, coffee, kombucha, jewelry, skincare, woodwork, home goods, and so much more. Holiday Mountain Market in Nederland

Visit Nederland’s Holiday Mountain Market, held the first weekend in December at the Nederland Community Center. In addition to photos with Santa, this annual arts and crafts festival features local mountain artists, unique gifts, festive food, a silent auction, and holiday music.  Photos with Santa 12 PM – 3 PM each day. A holiday tradition since 1972, Santa’s House is a community event hosted by the women of Boulder Area Alumnae Panhellenic for kids and families in the Boulder and North Metro area. Kids will enjoy meeting Mr. & Mrs. Claus, Christmas Bear & Puppy, and Mother Goose. Games with prizes, music, and storytelling are also available – bring your camera to capture the magic of the holiday season. Proceeds benefit local charities Imagine! and EFAA. Lyons Holiday Artisan Market

Mark your calendars! Artisan crafters will sell their handmade wares at the 46th Annual Lyons Holiday Craft Bazaar. A wide variety of quality crafts, jewelry, photography, pottery, glass, and textile arts will be found at this event. What’s more, it’s a great opportunity to find unique holiday gifts and accessories.  This is a Lyons tradition not to be missed! In The Holiday Trenches, A Musical Comedy

CenterStage is excited to host 19K and their Production of In The Holiday Trenches. 9 months after the finale of In the Trenches: A Parenting Musical, the family is working to create the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! Surprise houseguests, unexpected hijinks, and a winter storm collide to make it one of the craziest holidays on record. Can they get past the hurdles to achieve holiday glory? In the Holiday Trenches features all brand new music and lyrics by Graham and Kristina Fuller, who teamed up with Broadway and Off-Broadway vet Jason SweetTooth Williams to write the show’s book. Longmont Lights Holiday Festival & Parade

The festival begins on Friday at Roosevelt Park with Santa’s Workshop, a free craft area for kids and visits with Santa,  holiday ice show, hot cocoa carts, fire pits, live music, and hot air balloon lights. Colorado Chautauqua is hosting a Holiday Concert with Jeff & Paige at WinterFest. Jeff and Paige have reached thousands of children with their playful spirit and passion for ecological awareness. Using songs, storytelling, and interactive play they engage children (ages 3 – 9) with nature, music, and movement. They have six albums and have won several awards for their music and programming, including the 2016 National Parent Products Award (NAPPA) Award. The Bee Hugger Farm is hosting Santa! Your child can engage however she/he/they feel is best. Whether it is putting a letter in his mailbox while chatting with him, being on the hay wagon next to him to share stories, climbing up on the tractor to be nearby and give their Christmas wish, or riding their own tractor right below, we guarantee their time will be memorable and special with Santa. The setting is charming, rustic, unique, and sweet. Tickets are $15/child to spend time with Santa. While at the farm the kids can feed animals, purchase raw honey and other Bee Hugger products, pick out a Christmas tree, take a pony ride (kids 6 and under, $10ea), explore the 6 acre farm, and so much more.
