Mollie McGees Holiday Market

Mollie McGee’s Craft Markets feature only the highest quality handcrafted items as well as a selection of unique items not found in most malls. Mollie McGee’s Fall and Holiday Markets boast over 160 booths at each show.

The market will be held at Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont, Colorado 80501. Cost: $5 for both days (coupon for $1 off here), kids under 12 are FREE.

Multiple Piano Festival

When: Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 7 PM

Multiple Piano Festival is a very exciting event which has delighted audiences for over 25 years! 12 grand pianos, 24-36 students playing duet/trio pieces in unison led by a conductor. Performances feature a wonderful variety of music, from Mozart to Movie Themes, with some holiday favorites as well.

The Multiple Piano Festival will be held at Skyline High School, 600 E Mountain View Ave, Longmont, CO 80501. Tickets $15.

Santa’s Cellar Craft Fair

Check out the Santa Cellar Craft Fair, held at the Broomfield Community Center. Our Annual Santa’s Cellar Craft Fair features five rooms filled with local crafters from Colorado. Santa visits from 10 a.m. until noon! Find something special for everyone on your list. The Ninth Reindeer Cafe will be open during the Craft Fair from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for your snacking needs. Located in the Lakeshore Room. Take a look at the Breakfast and Lunch menus.

Stanley Hotel Holiday Artisans Market

When: November 23 – 24, 2019 from 10 AM – 5 PM

The Stanley Hotel Holiday Artisans market features 35 artists in the Hotel’s historic MacGregor room. All artwork will be made by the hand of each participating artist making for one of a kind unique gifts including, jewelry, ceramics, photography, writing, books, paintings, baked goods and more.

The market will be held at the Stanley Hotel, 333 E Wonderview Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517.  This event is free.

Downtown Boulder’s Switch on the Holidays | Boulder Holiday Event

Switch on the Holidays is back with a holiday sing-along performance led by the Colorado Caroling Company lead up to the grand illumination of the Boulder County Courthouse and the Pearl Street Mall, with a special appearance by Santa himself! Then stick around for FREE visits with Santa until 7 PM.

This event will be held outside the Boulder County Courthouse on the Pearl Street Mall, Pearl Street, Boulder CO 80302. Cost: FREE.

Nutcracker Tea

An unforgettable holiday tradition to kick off your holiday season, The Colorado Conservatory of Dance will be hosting a Nutcracker Tea at the Gatehouse. With a Victorian tea and service, edible delights, storytelling, and breathtaking divertissements from The Nutcracker, there’s something for everyone at this splendid party. Details here.

Michael Martin Murphey’s Cowboy Christmas at Boulder Theater

Michael Martin Murphey brings his Cowboy Christmas to Boulder, a combination of poetry and music and stories that’ll warm you, body and soul. A multiple Grammy nominee, Michael Martin Murphey has six gold albums and writes and plays country, bluegrass and folk music.

Centennial Ballet’s Sugar Plum Tea Party

When: Saturday, November 24 & Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 1 PM & 4 PM

Centennial State Ballet’s fundraiser, the Sugar Plum Tea Party includes a delightful afternoon of warm tea, sweet and savory edibles and harp accompaniment as well as a souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy character. Centennial State Ballet invites both young and old to join them in a wonderful afternoon at the start of the 2019 holiday season.

Season of Light + Holiday Music Show at Fiske

Light up the cold dark season with Fiske Planetarium‘s warm and bright holiday showSeason of Light explores the reasons humans are so fascinated with lighting up our lives during the December holiday season. It’s an exploration of the astronomical meanings behind seasonal traditions, including the “Star over Bethlehem”. This show traces the history and development of many of the world’s most endearing holiday customs, all of which involve lighting up the winter season — from the burning Yule log, sparkling Christmas tree lights and candles in windows, to the lighting of luminarias in the American Southwest and the traditional ritual of the Hanukkah Menorah.

Louisville WinterSkate

Located at the Steinbaugh Pavilion in Historic Downtown Louisville WinterSkate is an old-fashioned ice skating rink complete with skate rental, concessions and traditional holiday music. Celebrating its thirteenth year as the original outdoor ice skating rink in the community, WinterSkate presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy the winter season in a beautiful small-town setting.

Louisville WinterSkate is held at the Steinbaugh Pavilion, 824 Front Street in Historic Downtown Louisville. Winterfest Wednesday

Winterfest Wednesday is The Orchard‘s annual kick-off to the holiday season, kicking off the holiday season and transforming Town Center Square into a child’s holiday dream. The opening show will offer families a tantalizing tale of fun as a cast of characters come to life before their eyes, dancing, singing and helping all of us to find the spirit of the holidays. Santa will make his grand arrival at 5:30 PM joining in the fun and bringing to life The Orchard’s 50’ Christmas Tree with lights and music. Festivities will continue through the evening with music and entertainment!

Jingle Bell Bash

Twenty-Ninth Street will be hosting the Jingle Bell Bash, for all ages! Cookie decorating, hot chocolate, face painting, and visits with Santa.

Longmont Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Longmont kicks off the holidays! Bring your friends and family and celebrate with a ton of special events including: Santa, Holidays Around the World hosted by Patrick Paws from LMNO Puppets, Cultural Festivity, sing-alongs, caroling, warm drinks, crafts snacks & Goodie Bags.

Boulder Ballet’s The Nutcracker

Thanksgiving weekend, the curtain rises for America’s favorite ballet, brought to life by Boulder Ballet and the Boulder Philharmonic. Make your plans now for this thrilling and heartwarming spectacle, all performed to Tchaikovsky’s masterful score.

Boulder SantaCon

SantaCon is simply a gathering of people dressed as Santa. Traditionally, SantaCon is free to attend, however, some events have costs that need to be covered and the organizers ask for a contribution. Others are held in support of a good cause and also have a mandatory contribution. Boulder SantaCon has not yet released more details, but I will update as the information comes in.

SantaCon is held in downtown Boulder. Cost: FREE.

Head to Pearl Street where kids of all ages can visit with Santa at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center for FREE. Bring your list and a camera to capture priceless holiday memories.

Estes Park Catch the Glow Christmas Celebration

When: Friday, November 29, 2019 starting at 12 PM

Estes Park is celebrating the holiday season with the Catch the Glow Christmas Parade & Celebration. With holiday music broadcast outdoors throughout the town helping set the scene, you can stroll the magical downtown and visit with Santa Claus at his workshop near Bond Park from noon to 2 PM.  The lighted Christmas parade begins at 5:30 PM and runs the length of Elkhorn Ave. All activities are free.

This FREE event will be held in Downtown Estes Park.

Santa HQ at Flatiron Crossing

Santa is available for photos and visits at Santa’s Headquarters presented by HGTV, located at the base of Flatiron Crossing‘s Grand Staircase. Reservations available, but not required. Niwot’s Enchanted Evening

Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, the community of Niwot officially ushers in the holiday season with Enchanted Evening. The night will begin with the lighting of the community tree, welcoming Santa to town, presenting a Live Ice Sculpture demonstration in Cottonwood Square. Check out Ptarmigan String Quartet who will be performing Holiday music in the Grange with Santa from 6-8:30 PM. For full event info, click here.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

The Longmont Theatre Company presents The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world – so when they crash Sunday school and demand parts in the Christmas pageant, the whole town panics. There’s not supposed to be biting or cigar-smoking in Bethlehem, and while these kids have never even heard the Christmas story, they definitely have rewrites! Laughs abound in this funny and touching holiday classic.

Callahan Holiday Open House

Come to the Historic Callahan House for the Holiday Open House to tell Santa what you want for Christmas! Parents, bring your own cameras to capture the memories. The house will be open for tours as well so you have an opportunity to enjoy the holiday decorations. The line for Santa ends at 6:30 PM. The public is welcome and admission is free.

Louisville Parade of Lights

Join Louisville in its annual Parade of Lights. Enjoy musical entertainment provided by local schools & churches, a living nativity, petting zoo and visits with Santa.  The Parade begins at 7:00 PM at the south end of Main Street and ends on South Street. Enjoy choirs singing, the living nativity, visits with Santa, carolers, ice skating and lots more!

Broomfield Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

All of Broomfield welcomes the arrival of Santa Claus at the George DiCiero City and County Building at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Enjoy children caroling from the local schools, decorated Community Park trees, and the annual lighting of the community holiday tree by the Mayor. You can also ride the holiday wagon ride and talk to Santa. Bundle up and share in the Holiday Cheer!

Boulder’s most beloved December tradition gathers together for the Holiday Festival,  CU’s most remarkable student and faculty talent for an unforgettable concert that’s fun for the whole family. Delight in the twinkling lights, seasonal greenery and festive atmosphere of Macky Auditorium as student choirs, bands and orchestras perform holiday favorites and new surprises.

Boulder Lights of December Parade | Boulder Holiday Event

Head downtown for Boulder’s annual tradition, the 32nd Lights of December Parade. The parade features floats decorated by local businesses and organizations, as well as marching bands, fire engines, holiday carolers and of course – Santa!

Superior’s Skate with Santa

The holiday festivities begin at the Superior Sports Stable for Superior Chamber’s Skate with Santa. Skate with Santa at the Sport Stable from 3:15-4:45 PM. Hot cocoa and cookies will be available as well as an opportunity to have your photo with Santa.

Niwot Holiday Parade

When: Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11 AM – 1 PM

Santa returns to Niwot Saturday morning, December 1, to join in on the Holiday Parade. The parade starts at 11:00 AM. Participants will march down 2nd Ave from Murray Street to Niwot Road. When the parade finishes Santa will be in the Grange until 1:00 PM to take the children’s Christmas gift wish list. The local business will be open with additional craft vendors in the Grange.

Longmont Museum Holiday Show

The Longmont Museum’s holiday tradition continues with the Holiday Show. Join the Longmont Museum for songs of the season and holiday cheer from some of the finest musicians and performers in the region. Featuring singer-songwriter Ayo Awasika, the Longmont All Star Jazz Band, the Rocky Mountain Ringers, and much more. Matinee ONLY: Special Santa reception with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate before matinee performance only, beginning at 3 PM. A holiday tradition since 1972, Santa’s House is a community event hosted by the women of Boulder Area Alumnae Panhellenic for kids and families in the Boulder and North Metro area. Kids will enjoy meeting Mr. & Mrs. Claus, Christmas Bear & Puppy, and Mother Goose. Games with prizes, music and storytelling are also available – bring your camera to capture the magic of the holiday season. Proceeds benefit local charities Imagine! and EFAA.

Holiday Mountain Market in Nederland

Visit Nederland’s Holiday Mountain Market, held the first weekend in December at the Nederland Community Center. In addition to photos with Santa, this annual arts and crafts festival features local mountain artists, unique gifts, festive food, a silent auction, and holiday music.  Photos with Santa 12 PM – 3 PM each day.

Historic Hoverhome’s Annual Holiday Tours

Come and enjoy the holiday season at Historic Hoverhome in Longmont! Tour this beautifully decorated 1913-1914 historic house all decked-out for the holidays. These open-house tours allow guests to tour the house at their leisure, and no RSVPs are required. Tours also include hot cider and cookies, Christmas music and caroling, and costumed docents. Tour fees and donations collected assist The St. Vrain Historical Society with the management, preservation, and care of Hoverhome.

Lafayette’s Home for the Holidays

The bright glow of the holidays is once again coming to the Town of Lyons for the Lyons Holiday Bazaar & the Holiday Parade of Lights.  All weekend long, stop by the craft bazaar, featuring 60+ local artisans. The parade will will be filled with illuminated, colorful floats, many of which will be decorated in the theme of this year’s parade — Winter Wonderland. Live music and entertainment will follow the parade as well as a fireworks display!

The Nutcracker with the Longmont Symphony Orchestra

The 13th Annual Winter Market at the Boulder County Fairgrounds on Dec. 2 and 3 will feature 70 local food growers and producers and 60 Colorado artists.
