Sensory Friendly Concert with Jeff & Paige

Enjoy a science and nature-focused concert by Jeff and Paige at the Gordon Gamm Theater. Expect live, original, nature-inspired music for kids, educational/hilarious skits, quick costume changes and tons of audience participation. Jeff & Paige have won several awards for their music and musical programming: 2016 National Parent Products Award (NAPPA) Award, 2013 and 2016 Parent’s Choice Award, 2014 Creative Child Magazine CD of the Year Award, and Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education Award (CAEE) for excellence in programming. Sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a performing arts experience that is welcoming to all families with children with autism or with other disabilities that create sensory sensitivities.

Oktoberfest Boulder
When: Friday, September 21 & Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10AM – 11PM
Paulaner Brewing Company is hosting the first annual Oktoberfest Boulder this weekend! This traditional Oktoberfest celebration at Boulder Central Park will feature great beer, great music, kids activities, food and more. Entertainment includes free balloon art from Bongo the Balloon Man, face painting, cornhole championships, keg bowling, human glockenspiel and more. Live music includes music from 40oz to Freedom, a Sublime cover band, as well as The Nuns of Brixton – Clash cover band.

National Parks & Monuments Free Day

This Saturday is National Public Lands Day! Celebrate by visiting one of America’s most unique and significant sites. To honor its founding, the National Parks Service is granting free admission to ALL National Parks and Monuments on September 22. CU Museum of Natural History TREESpace Exhibit Grand Opening


When: Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 11AM – 1PM
At the CU Museum of Natural History’s TREESpace Exhibit’s grand opening celebration, Jeff and Paige will be performing a tree & plant-themed concert! Stick around after the show to explore the TREESpace a brand new hands-on science and art exhibit for all ages. Show will be held indoors in the magical Paleo Hall.
This event is held at the CU Museum of Natural History’s Paleo Hall. The event is FREE.
Doggie Dash 2018


When: Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 10AM – 1PM
The Doggie Dash 2018 is a 2-mile stroll and fun run at the Boulder Reservoir to benefit the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. The event includes a Community Expo — featuring scrumptious brunch options available for purchase at local food trucks, Wheel and the Whisk and Los Dos Bros, a free beer garden, music, the Purina Doggie Treat Bar, and dozens of local vendor booths. In addition to all the fun at the event, you’ll receive a Goodie Bag filled with giveaways, access to all of our exciting our fundraising prizes and all canine attendees receive a dog “medal” to commemorate the life-saving morning! Estes Park Autumn Gold Festival


When: September 22 – 23, 2018, Saturday 11AM – 6:30PM, Sunday 11:30AM – 5PM
Autumn Gold Festival is Estes Park’s fall celebration – a Festival of Bands, Brats & Beer. Entrance is free to dance, listen to music and enjoy the festival. The Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary will be offering mustard-smothered bratwursts, cold brews, soft drinks and more as talented local musicians and award-winning Colorado bands play. Browse the vendor booths who will be offering corn on the cob, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, roasted almonds, and desserts.
