44th Annual Longmont Turkey Trot

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, GO! Sign up to run one of the most scenic, fastest, 10k or 2 mile courses around, the Longmont Turkey Trot! 10K course also has a Wheelchair Division. Don’t just run for the fun of it, all of the Longmont Turkey Trot proceeds benefit the City of Longmont Youth Scholarship Fund! 2018 Theme: “Colorado Edition”. Expect live, original, nature-inspired music for kids, educational/hilarious skits, quick costume changes and tons of audience participation. Show appropriate for kids ages 3-8.

Check out the super fun PAWS to Read program this weekend at the Lafayette Public Library! Kids ages 5-10: Spend 15 minutes reading to a special therapy dog. They are cuddly, good listeners who would love to hear your stories.

Boulder Mountain Handmade features over 60 artisans in its market, plus Boulder’s best bake sale, a FREE all-ages maker area, live music, and fire truck tours. Free admission, plenty of parking.

Come down to Downtown Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall to kick off the holiday season with some holiday cheer and festivities. You will find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list among the fabulous specialty shops on the historic Pearl Street Mall in conjunction with an open air Holiday Festival. There will be a variety of one of-a-kind seasonal items, unique holiday gifts, and handmade treasures crafted by local artisans. This free holiday shopping spectacular will include great live music, a free holiday craft design area, and fun for the whole family. Deck the Mall is also raising funds for the Imagine! Foundation, which has been assisting families with developmental delays and disabilities in Boulder and Broomfield Counties since 1963.

Directed on Broadway by Tony Award®-winner John Rando and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, this musical based on the classic 1983 movie, which itself was based on stories by legendary radio humorist Jean Shepherd, features funny and heartfelt songs by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and a faithful yet inventive book by Joseph Robinette.  A Christmas Story, The Musical captures holiday wonder with such deliciously wicked wit that it is sure to delight children and grown-ups alike!
