This weekend is filled with music, reading, robots, falcons, alpacas, dogs and MORE! Many of these events are completely FREE. Spend some special time with the kids at these super fun events happening this weekend in and around Boulder.

Where: University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, 1035 Broadway St, Boulder, Colorado 80302

Time: 11AM & 1PM

Cost: FREE

This Saturday, see a Jeff & Paige concert at the CU Museum of Natural History. Kid-friendly science and natural history exhibits, monthly family days and this 6th annual concert day with Jeff & Paige. The first show rins from 11:00-11:45AM and is geared towards preschool age kids (ages 2-5). The second show happens from 1:00-1:45pm, geared toward lower elementary school kids (ages 5-8).

Ages: 7 & Up. All ages welcome.

Join Science Galaxy for a special day of STEAM explorations for the whole family at the Rayback Collective. 2017 favorites will be back as well as new fun to the list of choices: Do an escape room in a box, create a stop-motion movie, design and test a robotic drone, and more. Activities suitable for kids 7+, all ages welcome.

Wizard of Oz Performed by Peanut Butter Players

The Peanut Butter Players are Boulder County’s premiere children’s theatre, providing training in singing, dancing and acting for the young, teaching kids to make believe and to believe in themselves! Check out the Peanut Butter Players in their performance of the classic Wizard of Oz.

Birds of Prey Presentation

Alpaca Extravaganza 2018

This weekend at Boulder County Fairgrounds, check out Alpaca Extravaganza! Events include educational activities, “hands-on” experiences,  and demonstrations. Meet some adorable alpacas, participate in the silent auction, and learn about this amazing animal! Alpaca arts and crafts will be available for purchase and fiber artists will be on hand. An alpaca fiber and yarn sale held in conjunction with educational seminars and interactive opportunities with alpacas. Sponsored by Alpaca Breeders Alliance of Northern Colorado.
