Located at the Steinbaugh Pavilion in Historic Downtown Louisville WinterSkate is an old-fashioned ice skating rink complete with skate rental, concessions, and traditional holiday music. Celebrating its thirteenth year as the original outdoor ice skating rink in the community, WinterSkate presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy the winter season in a beautiful small-town setting. Recapture the holiday magic with White Christmas at the Boulder Dinner Theater this holiday season! This smash Broadway musical based on the Irving Berlin film starring Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby will definitely make your holidays merry and bright. Singers Bob Wallace and Phil Davis join sister act Betty and Judy Haynes to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly, the boys’ commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties — his quaint country inn is failing. So what’s the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put Waverly and his business in the black! Nominated for 2 Tonys and 6 Drama Desk awards! The annual Menorah Lighting on Pearl Street attracts over 300 parents, children, grandparents, couples, singles, and passers-by each year, and has become a holiday ritual for numerous local Jewish families. The event features live music, Chanukah Favors, plenty of fresh sufganiot, Menorah Lighting under the stars with the Participation of Community Leaders and Dignitaries, hot chocolate, and more. RETURNING: Contemporary Works by Arapaho Artists Opening Reception & Artist Panel

Join the Museum of Boulder for the opening night of the new art show, RETURNING: Contemporary Works by Arapaho Artists, featuring an artist panel. The Museum of Boulder will host a group show of contemporary artwork by Arapaho artists–the first of its kind in the area. Meet some of the artists featured in the exhibit and learn more about their process in an artist panel taking place at 5:30. The opening reception is included with $10 admission to the Museum and includes access to all exhibits. Molly Mitchell is a professional rock climber who lives in Longmont, CO. At 28 years old, she has already achieved a lifelong goal of climbing a traditional route rated 5.14 (placing all her own gear), with her 2019 send of “China Doll,” located in Boulder Canyon. In October 2020, she took a 30 foot ground fall on a different route in Boulder Canyon and fractured two vertebrae. She is also very open over the years about her struggle with mental illness (anxiety and depression) and how the accident has affected her mental health greatly. She is a speaker for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Today she is back climbing again, but with a much different perspective and a lot of growth that she feels had to happen in her climbing journey.

NoBo First Friday is a FREE self-guided tour of artists’ studios and creative businesses in the NoBo Art District. Meet painters, sculptors, photographers, designers and other artists along your stroll through the area. Featuring live music, demos and special activities in many locations. Located along Broadway from Pine Street to Highway 36. Follow the colorful flags to find surprises around every corner. First Friday runs from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on the first Friday of the month. Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights

The bright glow of the holidays is once again coming to the Town of Lyons for the Lyons Holiday Parade of Lights.   The parade will be filled with illuminated, colorful floats, many of which will be decorated in the theme of this year’s parade — Winter Wonderland. Sister City Holiday Bazaar

The Superior Khandbari Sister City project is hosting the first annual Superior Bazaar to take place on December 4, 2021, at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road). The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature vendors from across the north metro area. Products for sale will include handmade jewelry & ornaments, art prints, original acrylic paintings, crocheted baby blankets, bath products, and lotions, quilted bags, candles, note cards, handmade pottery, knit hats, food products, and much more. Additionally, there will be several Nepalese products for sale. A portion of the sales at the Superior Bazaar will benefit the Superior Khanbari Sister City Project.

Lyons Holiday Artisan Market

In The Holiday Trenches, A Musical Comedy

CenterStage is excited to host 19K and their Production of In The Holiday Trenches. 9 months after the finale of In the Trenches: A Parenting Musical, the family is working to create the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! Surprise houseguests, unexpected hijinks, and a winter storm collide to make it one of the craziest holidays on record. Can they get past the hurdles to achieve holiday glory? Holiday Concert With Jeff & Paige

Colorado Chautauqua is hosting a Holiday Concert with Jeff & Paige at WinterFest. Jeff and Paige have reached thousands of children with their playful spirit and passion for ecological awareness. They have six albums and have won several awards for their music and programming, including the 2016 National Parent Products Award (NAPPA) Award. The Bee Hugger Farm is hosting Santa! Your child can engage however she/he/they feel is best. Whether it is putting a letter in his mailbox while chatting with him, being on the hay wagon next to him to share stories, climbing up on the tractor to be nearby and give their Christmas wish, or riding their own tractor right below, we guarantee their time will be memorable and special with Santa. The setting is charming, rustic, unique, and sweet. Tickets are $15/child to spend time with Santa. While at the farm the kids can feed animals, purchase raw honey and other Bee Hugger products, pick out a Christmas tree, take a pony ride (kids 6 and under, $10ea), explore the 6 acre farm, and so much more. The Boulder Holiday Gift Festival

Boulder Opera brings the enchanting L’enfant et les sortilèges (The Child and the Spells: A Lyric Fantasy in Two Parts) by Ravel with stage direction by Dana Kinney, and music direction by Steven Aguiló-Arbues. A lazy child has been grounded. Ordered to stay in his bedroom until dinner time, he takes out his anger on the animals and objects around him. He knocks over a tea service, torments a squirrel and a cat, tears up the tapestry, and then his books. Suddenly, as if by magic, these innocent victims come to life and decide to get their revenge. The Opera is one hour long, sung in French with subtitles. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Tickets here.
